Wall Collapse In Queens Claims A Life
At around 2 p.m. at Rockaway Beach, a 57-year-old man who was working in a partially constructed building was crushed when a wall collapsed. His coworkers discovered him while he was still alive but unconscious and he was rushed to a nearby hospital. Despite his emergency doctors best efforts, he died from his injuries at the hospital.
The Department of Buildings is investigating the accident.
